We recommend that you bring your child for a first visit at age three, or earlier if you notice a problem. One of our caring dentists will perform a gentle exam to check for proper tooth development and bite alignment, as well as dental decay.

To prevent cavities, our dentists recommend dental sealants and fluoride treatments. A dental sealant is a thin plastic film that smoothes the surface of back teeth to make them easy to clean and impervious to decay. Your child’s dental sealant coating will last about ten years and is a powerful prevention technique to help reduce future dental costs.

Fluoride is another proven cavity fighter. Children who drink bottled, instead of tap, water may have a deficiency of this important mineral. Our dentists apply fluoride directly to teeth to protect and strengthen them, while thwarting cavity formation.

We may suggest orthodontics for children with crooked teeth or misaligned bites.
